Ghislaine Maxwell sentenced to 20 years prison over sex trafficking

UK Socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison by a New York judge.

She found guilty for helping the late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein sexually abuse girls.

60 years old Maxwell was convicted in December of recruiting and trafficking four teenage girls for sexual abuse by Epstein, her then boyfriend.

Epstein killed himself in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019, where he had been awaiting his own sex trafficking trial.

One of her accusers said outside the court in the USA that she should stay in prison for the rest of her life.

All these crime were happened between the 1994 and 2004

She has been in the custody since her arrest in July 2020.

The judge also imposed a fine of $750,000 saying this crime as "heinous and predatory".
